For the second time this year, the family of veteran comedian Baba Sala (real name Moses Olaiya) has dismissed claims that the 83 year old icon has passed away On Tuesday afternoon, several media outlets reported that Baba Sala had passed on. But his son Yemi, who spoke to NET on the telephone, debunked such claims. ‘Baba is certainly not dead, and I still spoke to him today.’ He further denied that he was in a coma and added that he’s as fine as any 83 year old could be. This report comes few months after he was reported to have died early this year, a rumour which his family has been forced to refute several times. Having began started his theatre group in 1969, the veteran actor and comedian, Baba Sala is widely regarded as the first king of comedy in Nigeria.

According to the Port-Harcourt based singer, he has in this year, picked and returned £4300K with credit card, iPhone 7, car key, Samsung Tab, including a wrong cash transfer of N71k and 16k airtime that was mistakenly sent to him. Sharing a picture of the wrong 4300 airtime that was sent to him,  he wrote; ‘I actually don’t know if anyone can explain this to me.. is either someone will mistakenly send money to my account or send airtime to my phone or forget something important that I’ll be the one to pick it up for them…. some people dey pray for this kind awuf sha….????? just in this year I’ve picked 4300pounds with credit card, iPhone 7, car key, Samsung tab, I’ve received 71k from mistaken transfer, 16k airtime and now 4500 airtime and I returned all back to there various owners……’

Music legend,Tuface Idibia has lamented the slave trade currently going on in Libya. Tuface on Tuesday called on African leaders to take immediate action against those suffering in Libya. Libya has recently been criticized following claims of slave trade and human trafficking of immigrants going on in the country. Tuface on his Instagram page @official2baba alongside a picture wrote, “Unbelievable, African leaders must take action immediately. “This should not be business as usual, eradicate poverty, build infrastructure, upgrade healthcare, upgrade education system, “Say no to corruption,wake up Africa!”

An okada man in the habit of raising false alarm of his missing manhood in order to get free sex whenever he carries young ladies in Festac Area of Lagos State has been arrested by the officials of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos Police Command. The rider, whose name was given as  Okechukwu Desmond , allegedly picked a young lady whose name was not disclosed at Apple Junction, Festac, around  9:00 p.m. yesterday . Midway into the journey, Okechukwu raised alarm that his passenger lady has taken his manhood. It took the speedy intervention of the Rapid Response Squad to save the lady from an angry mob who had converged at the scene from lyching the young lady for using charm to take the manhood of the okada rider. The RRS team thereafter transferred the case to the nearest police station in Festac, where it was discovered that the supposed victim had recently reported a similar case of a missing manhood at the station.
