Abramovich launches club takeover


The son of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is going into the football club business himself.
Arkady Abramovich, 23, is launching a takeover bid of CSKA Moscow, reports Sport-Express.
Arkady has reportedly offered €250m to take control of CSKA, though reports of an agreement already being reached are wide of the mark.
The Abramovich family are big CSKA fans, with their company, Sibneft, being a long-term sponsor.

Anthony Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has revealed that the Nigeria born British professional boxer intends to “eat” Deontay Wilder when they face off in a world title unification fight next year. Wilder remained on course for a high-profile bout with the undefeated Briton by beating Bermane Stiverne with a first-round knockout in New York over the weekend. “The Bronze Bomber” immediately targeted Joshua, who has previously spoken of his desire for a unification match at some point in 2018. Asked about the prospect of a fight still being on the cards, Hearn told Sky Sports News, “I think 2018, we want to see Deontay Wilder against Anthony Joshua, no question.
