Couple Attempt To Sell Children For N500,000 In Imo State

An intending couple has been paraded yesterday in Owerri, Imo state for attempting to sell two children they kidnapped. The kids are said to be children of a woman identified as Abigail Ukah in Uzoagba, Ikeduru local government area of Imo State. The deal was allegedly masterminded by the cousin to the children’s mother, Ms. Oluchi Chibike, with the collaboration of her would be husband, Obinna Eze. Speaking at the parade of the suspected criminals yesterday in Owerri, the Imo state capital by the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Ezike, said the would be husband, Obinna Eze, confessed that he only collected the sum of N500,000 for the sales of the children. The children now recovered by the police are five year old, Francis Nwachukwu and his two year old sister Chimazaekpere Nwachukwu.  Nnamdi Kanu to Buhari: Defeat me with superiority of your argument not with Ak 47 Nnamdi Kanu,  leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has asked  President Muhammadu Buhari  to come up with a better argument in the “debate for freedom”. Kanu said this on Wednesday in Abia state while reacting to Buhari’s marching order to security agencies to tackle the excesses of secessionist groups, including IPOB.The president had also discussed the issue of IPOB – among other “security threats” – with service chiefs during a meeting on Tuesday.
