Alvaro Morata and Pedro Rodriguez pose for a picture with the likes of David De Gea and Nacho Monreal after Spain's 3-0 win over Italy
Alvaro Morata looked to be in high spirits as he posed for a picture with his Spain team-mates after their impressive 3-0 victory over Italy in World Cup qualifying on Saturday night.
New Chelsea signing Morata scored his side’s third goal in the second half to add to strikes from Real Madrid star Isco and help Spain take a step closer towards reaching the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Morata has made a relatively strong start to life in the Premier League and has scored two goals and made two assists in three games since his arrival from Real Madrid back in July.
And the 24-year-old looked to be in good spirits as he posed for a picture with his team-mates, including the likes of Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea and Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal while on international duty.
Morata’s Chelsea team-mate Pedro Rodriguez was also in high spirits as he posed for a picture in the dressing room after the game.
Morata shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “🇪🇸⚽️EQUIPO⚽️🇪🇸”
Morata will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday with a trip to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester.
