Nigeria’s massive 4-0 victory against Cameroon in a 2018 World Cup qualification match on Friday left Uyo fans delirious in celebration.
After the final whistle and the players’ departure from the pitch, fans massed onto the pitch of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium to get a feel for the scene of amazing football that they had just witnessed.
Several fans lay on the green grass to pose for pictures while others stayed in the goal posts where they imagined themselves in the place of Super Eagles goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa who gave a flawless performance to deny the Indomitable Lions.

Couple Attempt To Sell Children For N500,000 In Imo State

An intending couple has been paraded yesterday in Owerri, Imo state for attempting to sell two children they kidnapped. The kids are said to be children of a woman identified as Abigail Ukah in Uzoagba, Ikeduru local government area of Imo State. The deal was allegedly masterminded by the cousin to the children’s mother, Ms. Oluchi Chibike, with the collaboration of her would be husband, Obinna Eze. Speaking at the parade of the suspected criminals yesterday in Owerri, the Imo state capital by the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Ezike, said the would be husband, Obinna Eze, confessed that he only collected the sum of N500,000 for the sales of the children.
