Another Nigerian player joins Leicester City
The winger has signed a four-year-deal with Leicester City from Water FC in Nigeria.
Nigerian youngster Habib Makanjuolahas signed for Leicester City, becoming the Premier League club's fourth Nigerian player.
The winger has joined the 2016 Premier League champions from Water FC in Nigeria and signed a four-year-deal.
The 18-year-old will join up with Leicester City’s U-23 side for the coming season and try to impress with the aim of promotion to the senior side.
“I’m happy joining the club. My trials went well and my dream is to play regularly for the club,” Makanjuola told Complete Sport.
Makanjuola has had trials with Chelsea U-16s and Birmingham’s U-17s.
He joins his former Golden Eaglets teammateKelechi Iheanacho at Leicester City although the striker is with the senior side.
Makanjuola and Iheanacho were part of the Golden Eaglets squad that won the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi are the other two Nigerian players at Leicester City.
