Couple Attempt To Sell Children For N500,000 In Imo State

An intending couple has been paraded yesterday in Owerri, Imo state for attempting to sell two children they kidnapped. The kids are said to be children of a woman identified as Abigail Ukah in Uzoagba, Ikeduru local government area of Imo State. The deal was allegedly masterminded by the cousin to the children’s mother, Ms. Oluchi Chibike, with the collaboration of her would be husband, Obinna Eze. Speaking at the parade of the suspected criminals yesterday in Owerri, the Imo state capital by the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Ezike, said the would be husband, Obinna Eze, confessed that he only collected the sum of N500,000 for the sales of the children. The children now recovered by the police are five year old, Francis Nwachukwu and his two year old sister Chimazaekpere Nwachukwu. A stunning Sudanese model who became a fashion icon after moving to the US from a refugee camp has detailed the cruel bullying she faced growing up, at the hand of classmates who thought her skin was ‘too black’, according to Dailymail. The woman identified as Nyakim Gatwech, based in Minnesota, further revealed in March this year that an Uber driver had once asked her whether she would bleach her skin if she were given $10,000 (N3,600,000) in exchange and she said NO.
